Introductory Chemistry

This course provides students an opportunity to discover what chemistry is about without moving into highly theoretical and mathematical studies. Laboratory investigations will be included. Many of the basic concepts of chemistry will be investigated, including the structure of matter and the application of chemistry to the environment and to society. This course has less independent preparation outside of class and is not accepted by NCAA as a science course.
