Volunteerism

This course offers a unique educational experience which provides students with the opportunity to understand how their community works by developing an awareness of “volunteerism.” Students must volunteer 90 hours of unpaid service outside the regular school day to an organization from a list of nonprofit community agencies and service organizations. Students may select a listed agency to meet individual needs or interests. This course may be repeated one time and is offered as a pass/fail.
