On September 24, Norborne R-VIII School District became Launch’s 100th partner.

“Provide equal course access to all Missouri students, regardless of zip code.”

This has been one of Launch’s main goals since we began offering online courses to students across Missouri in fall 2017. At that time, we had 19 committed district partners and a catalog of 48 online courses. Fast forward one year, and this morning we welcomed our 100th partner—at 8:51 a.m., Norborne Secondary Principal Jennifer Courtney sent over the district’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), making the district an official Launch member. By joining, Norborne joined 99 other Missouri school districts in providing their students access to Launch’s 100+ quality online courses, all that are designed, developed and delivered by Missouri educators. “It’s very exciting to see our growth across the state,” says Dr. Nichole Lemmon, Director of Blended Learning at Springfield Public Schools. “We’ve gained several partners in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas, and we now also have partners in all of Missouri’s MASA regions. We’re really excited to be able to provide more and more students access to our high-quality courses.”
