Civil Engineering and Architecture
This course is the study of the design and construction of residential and commercial building projects and includes an introduction to building components and systems, structural design, stormwater management, site design, utilities and services, cost estimation, energy efficiency, and careers in the design and construction industry. Students apply what they learn about various aspects of civil engineering and architecture to the design and development of a property. Dual credit and/or articulated credit may be available. Prerequisite: Introduction to Engineering Design
