Expanded World Languages

Launch recently added German I and II, advanced French and advanced Spanish courses to its online course catalog. All courses are taught by certified world language teachers.

German I & II
In German I, students will acquire an elementary ability to
listen, speak, read, and write the German language. This course emphasizes the skills needed for useful daily communication, e.g. making friends, expressing ones needs and preferences, seeking and giving directions, etc. Along with learning the language, students will also be introduced to German culture. In German II, students continue to develop their skills tailored to speaking, listening and writing German. At this level there is an increased emphasis on vocabulary development, oral proficiency, expression in past and various other tenses. Students in this course also continue to expand their knowledge of the German culture.

French III
In French III, students continue to develop their skills tailored to speaking, listening and writing French. At this level there is an increased emphasis on vocabulary development, oral proficiency, expression in past and various other tenses. Students in this course also continue to expand their knowledge of the French culture.

Spanish III
Students enrolled in Spanish III continue to develop their skills and ability to speak, listen and write the Spanish language. At this level there is an increased emphasis on vocabulary development, oral proficiency, expression in the past tenses and various other tenses. Students in Spanish III also continue to expand their knowledge of the culture of Spanish-speaking peoples.
