What a Launch learning day looks like

Middle school students need both independence and support. At Launch, students build responsibility while staying connected to teachers, clear expectations, and a consistent academic routine.

A typical day may include:

  • checking announcements, messages, and due dates in Canvas
  • working through assignments in core classes
  • attending live lessons if enrolled in Launch Live courses
  • completing health, PE, or elective coursework
  • reviewing teacher feedback and planning next steps

Because students can enroll full-time or per course, no two schedules look exactly the same. The structure can flex based on grade level, course load, and whether a student is taking live or asynchronous classes.

Daily Habits That Help Students Succeed

Success in virtual middle school starts with simple, consistent routines. Students should:

  • check Canvas messages and announcements each day

  • complete work regularly
  • attend live lessons when required
  • ask for help when they need it

These habits help students stay organized, build confidence, and keep moving forward.
